Meliland is a registered family childcare home where little ones learn through play, kindness, and gentle daily routines — in a safe, loving setting led by a trained early-childhood educator.
A safe, nurturing, and inclusive space where children from diverse backgrounds thrive — growing in love, kindness, and confidence through learning, play, healthy eating, and active exercise.
Inspired by Melika Mohammadi’s legacy, we nurture compassion, curiosity, multilingual learning, and care for the earth, animals, our community, and ourselves.
Tahereh is the Founder and Provider of MeliLand Childcare, where she brings more than twenty years of experience in early childhood education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Educational Management, pairing deep classroom expertise with a strong foundation in program leadership.
Calm, creative, and endlessly patient, Tahereh has built her career around a simple belief: that children thrive when they are seen, supported, and inspired. She is passionate about partnering with families and the wider community to create a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging environment where every child feels they belong.
At the heart of her philosophy is the conviction that children learn best through nature, hands-on discovery, and play. By following children’s natural curiosity, she helps spark creativity, confidence, and a genuine, lifelong love of learning. Through thoughtfully designed experiences and close family partnerships, Tahereh nurtures each child’s social, emotional, physical, and academic growth — empowering every one of them to reach their full potential.
For more than two decades, that dedication has made Tahereh a trusted and respected educator, and the guiding heart behind MeliLand Childcare.
“A child who feels safe is a child who’s ready to explore. Connection is where confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning begin.”
